The original Sunshine Cafe served North Las Vegas for decades. Steve Maynard and Tara Gilbert bought it in 2001, and in 2016 they moved it into North Las Vegas Airport and added ‘Tailwinds’ to the name. Toy planes hang from the ceiling, and pilots fly in just for lunch.
